Weeping Willow -- Fiber Art

This small piece measures 8"X11" and is made from commercial cottons. It is heavily stitched with Superior's variegated Fantastico thread. I'm calling it "Weeping Willow" trying to depict green and sorrow.

A Resting Place II

On my design wall this morning is
"A Resting Place II." It has squares instead of diamonds for the background. It too is small, 8" x11."

A Resting Place

Life ...

Our neighbors have some very picturesque buildings.

After a busy day, the track hoes sit silent and still.

... as a Quilter
The start of something new.

I couldn't decide what to name this small quilt so I asked for suggestions over on Facebook. There were so many good ideas that it was hard to choose; but someone mentioned "The Resting Place." And I liked that but just thought this is one of many resting places so I changed the 'The' to 'A.'
