And now I’m working on my 4th pine. I’ve stitched the tree and trunk but need to quilt the sky and ground yet. And I need a name. Any suggestions?
Julia I'm having as much fun looking as these quilts as you are making them. Are you breaking in your George? Did you use it on these small quilts or your regular machine.

ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see them all displayed together in a group.
ReplyDeleteOh, Julia, I love it! The stitching gives it a great texture and I love the colours. Very cool! Maybe O Christmas Tree?
ReplyDeleteI agree... Lonesome Pine. Nice work!
ReplyDeleteThe stitching is fabulous - really makes your work stand out! I think, "Shine Pine" would be a fun name - as the light fabric makes it looks as though the moon is spotlighting your tree.
ReplyDeleteThe variety of colours on the ground is what makes your mini-quilts really glow. Amazing! I'm totally inspired!
ReplyDeleteThese are just fabulous! The quilting is amazing.
ReplyDeleteThose are looking great.
ReplyDeleteYou have a lot of top stitching going on there....something I am just learning a little about...oh how I have so much to learn.
Your parallel lines of quilting are really effective.
ReplyDeleteYour tree quilts are just wonderful.
ReplyDeleteSimply beautiful - often Christmas decorating can be "over the top", but not your pines!
ReplyDeleteJulia, from the colors on my computer, I would name this quilt The Peppermint Tree.
ReplyDeleteYour work, your faith, and family values are an inspiration to me.
