Holiday Pines

This is my third quilt in the “Pines” series. I’m having so much fun making these small quilts.

Julia I'm having as much fun looking as these quilts as you are making them. Are you breaking in your George? Did you use it on these small quilts or your regular machine.

I can't wait to see them all displayed together in a group.

Oh, Julia, I love it! The stitching gives it a great texture and I love the colours. Very cool! Maybe O Christmas Tree?

I agree... Lonesome Pine. Nice work!

The stitching is fabulous - really makes your work stand out! I think, "Shine Pine" would be a fun name - as the light fabric makes it looks as though the moon is spotlighting your tree.

The variety of colours on the ground is what makes your mini-quilts really glow. Amazing! I'm totally inspired!

Those are looking great.
You have a lot of top stitching going on there....something I am just learning a little about...oh how I have so much to learn.

Your parallel lines of quilting are really effective.

Your tree quilts are just wonderful.

Simply beautiful - often Christmas decorating can be "over the top", but not your pines!

Julia, from the colors on my computer, I would name this quilt The Peppermint Tree.
Your work, your faith, and family values are an inspiration to me.
