Friday With Ashton and Georgi

I shared a great part of my day with Ashton and Georgi.

We made paths in the pine trees, played church, played the piano and sang, had lunch together, ran/walked around the house, etc., etc., etc.

They played in the tent, rode bike & trike, threw rocks in the pond, wanted to jump on the bed, hid behind my design wall, etc., etc., etc.

I read stories to them, made them a snack, helped them with their squabbles, sewed on Talya’s quilt in between times, etc., etc., etc.

The start of something new … a quilt for baby Talya!

And yet another project. I’m trying to think up of something easy to make with these fabrics. Any good ideas out there?

This is so much fun … until it’s time to pick them all up. And then we still can’t waste them, even though they have been down there longer than the 5 second rule!

This weekend I quickly put together another little “tree” quilt. These small quilts are fast, fun, and fabulous! I wish I had time to make more.
