Orca Bay Continues

I'm slowly working on my Orca Bay Myster Quilt by Bonnie Hunter. I finally have 224 oversized hour glass blocks pieced, but I have yet to trim them down to 2.5" square.

In the mean time at our Graber Reunion I helped put the finishing stitches into Heidi's quilt.

I love, love, love this "fresh modern quilt" ... and the little girl in front of it!

I love your black and whites. The whites have great movement and Heidi's quilt is lovely. : )

Julia I'm enjoying making this mystery quilt so much! Just think there will be over l00 quilts out there in the www just like ours. I do like the Modern quilt of Heidi's. Did you piece that one?

Congrats on getting the QSTs sewn. The trimming can be done little and often :)

I remember my grandmother having quilting bee days like yours pictured. I wish there were hand quilters here to do this with. :)

Your blocks are beautiful, and the quilt is gorgeous, the little girl is pretty adorable, too.

Lovely quilt! I do not envy you needing to trim your little blocks. Trimming up blocks is not my favourite step.
