Romania (3)
On Sunday we drove 4 1/2 hours to Bucherest to visit a young church, 4 years old.
I was fascinated by the sights in the city. The Christmas lights were blue & white ‘trees’ strung across the street. Snow had accumulated on them, but I can just imagine they were pretty when it got dark and they were lit up.
The meeting place for this church was in a new skyscraper owned by one of the members. They could meet here, rent free.
The elevator was state of the art with mirrors on the sides and ceiling.
A lot of the members are young university students and they bring their friends to introduce them to the good news of the gospel.
They had a dedication for this baby as part of the service. And then a wonderful message from John 9, or was it 10?
Paul liked this semi trailer rig advertising for Orange tour. He wanted to make sure I got a picture of the front grill. I thought the circular windshield and wipers were amazing.
This was another building that took my camera’s eye. Coca-Cola!
We passed this lady on our way to lunch and she was still there when we came back. I was glad that she was eating a plate a food and it looked like she also had warm clothes.
Our host was Sorin with his wife Naomi & daughter. He intrepreted the church service for us and gave us a glimps of the work of the church there in Bucherest.
Wouldn’t it be fun to have a ride in a Smart car?
We got back to “The Potter’s House” a little late but in time for the evening church program.
Gabi & his bride Anna Mary visited us yet after church. They are the recipients of a wedding gift, a picture painted by my niece Claire Bleu.

Romania (2)
We visited in Hapria with Peter & Jenny and Maria …
… John and Anna …
… Daniel, Helen, and Donna.
Then we went in to Alba and visited with the Tudor family.
We ordered out pizzas for the HOPE girls …
… and had a noisy lively time with them.
These young boys found a nice hiding place in the kitchen.
David & Ioana’s little Anna Marie looks just like a china doll.
Romania (1)
Romania, here we come!
Naomi at the piano and Lois with the violin made beautiful music for us.
We visited the elderly care home near Teleac. Mihaela showed us where they are adding an enclosed porch for a handicap ramp. It also makes a lovely place to dry clothes.
Paveluc and his wife were so glad to have us in their home.
Tea with Horatiu & Gina
Coleen felt right at home “grammaing” their Theodore.
Pauls, Glens, & Adens
A walk down the street in Lancram.
The Potter’s House in Sebes.
Beautiful scene in the mountains.
Adi picked us up at the airport. Later we were invited to their home for supper and then Adi & Ariana showed us pictures of their mission trip to Moldova.

Mostly Guests
My nephew Andy brought a friend, Pedro down from VA for a short visit.
Evie, Sheila and I met at the local bakery with the children to celebrate Evie and Georgi’s birthdays on Jan. 4.
The bakery ladies loved talking with the children.
View from the front door early in the morning.
Workshop day with the Possum Town Quilters.
I was hostess today for lunch and our table was full of guests. Edward & Gertie
John & Cheryl and Rosanna
Jason & Karla and girls with her grandpa Henry from Red Lake. I enjoyed catching up on some of the folks from Red Lake from back when I spent a year up there working in the children’s home.
Paul’s sister Rhoda & Lanell with Lance, Lena, and Brent.
