I finished this quilt for The Alzheimer's Art Quilt Initiative (AAQI) Raising Awareness & Funding Research Through Art.
Stripped Bare
As a tree is stripped bare of it's leaves, so my Father was stripped of his memory and often wanted Mother to finish the stories he would tell. He often asked "Now, (pause) how was it, Margaret? I can't quite remember."

Beautiful quilt and touching story.
That tree is really amazing. Great quilting on it. The back is fantastic, too!
What a great way to tell the story of the loss of memory through an awesome quilt.

I thought it was a wonderful quilt before I read the story. After I read it, it's a very moving work of art. Love it.

Visiting from Felicity Fridays. Is this your first AAQI quilt? I looked for you on the site. I just got my 6 quilt a month badge.
