Alzheimer's Quilt

Stripped Bare

As a tree is stripped bare of it's leaves, so my Father was stripped of his memory and often wanted Mother to finish the stories he would tell. He often asked "Now, (pause) how was it, Margaret? I can't quite remember."

That tree is really amazing. Great quilting on it. The back is fantastic, too!

I thought it was a wonderful quilt before I read the story. After I read it, it's a very moving work of art. Love it.
