Life …
I love the way Carolyn likes to work in the kitchen. She made some delicious white chocolate chip cookies.
…and oven baked BBQ chicken.
… as a Quilter
I have so much enjoyed my sister Emily living close by for a little while. She took a picture of a silage chopper they use in Texas to harvest corn.
She decided to make a small fiber art quilt using this picture for inspiration.
Here you can see her work in progress.
And this is her finished piece. Great job!
Detail
And now her husband doesn’t want her to sell it.

Dana has finish three (actually it’s four now) blocks for her quilt and …
… Emily has started two more projects.

Looks like your sewing room is the place to be! So much happens there. I'm looking forward to getting to know Dana. I'm amazed at all the projects Emily gets done. I can sure see why Perry wants to keep the combine art. The wonky zig zag looks like a Kathy Doughty pattern.
One thing is missing tho. What project are you working on?
Go Dana! Looks good! Aunt Emily's upcoming project is looking interesting . . . :-)
Oh my goodness, that tractor is amazing!!
Wow, that tractor is impressive. I can see why her husband doesn't want to see it go!
You are all three amazing quilters. I love everything. The truck and the blocks: Just beautiful!!!
Love from Amsterdam
That tractor is wonderful. The thread painting is amazing!
Oh wow, the tractor piece is amazing. Such details! Great job! Love those black, white and red blocks - very nice!
Fabulous projects...love that tractor. Thanks for sharing. Stopping by from TGIFF. Marie (mlismore@optusnet.com.au)
So many fun (and delicious looking) things going on over there. The tractor quilt is beautiful and I love those blocks Dana is making too.
Congratulations on all of these wonderful and interesting projects!

Oh! I love that tractor! The details are really good. Looks all thread painted. Do you have any county fairs ? She should enter it, definately would be a big hit and would win a ribbon.
Wonderful piece your sister did. Are you all sharing one sewing machine? You must like each other a lot, if so!
What a fun party at your place. :D The tractor is AMAZING - so realistic. And I really love Dana's blocks.
